Come join us on Saturday, 22nd February at 2pm for a fun afternoon with delicious Whisky and amazing stories!

From the home of Australian fortified wine, Rutherglen in North-Eastern Victoria, Morris have been making world renowned fortified wines since 1859. For many years a spirits still originally used to make fortified wines laid dormant at the heart of their Rutherglen winery. In 2016, they decided to bring it back to life and started to experiment and research with spirit making, using local grain, water and aging the whisky in barrels sourced from the family winery. Then came experimentation with finishing the whisky in the some of the amazing Morris fortified casks that they are fortunate enough to have access to. They soon learnt that it was these barrels that would provide remarkable flavours to create a uniquely Australian Whisky experience.

You will be tasting all 6 of Morris’ whisky varieties that showcase their production capabilities and talk to the story of fortified and it's influence on the whisky. And to finish, of course, you will then enjoy their Cellar Reserve Grand Muscat.
